Western Forest Complex (WEFCOM), a large intact forest landscape located in western Thailand, is the hope for the recovery of tiger and other large mammal populations such as gaur and banteng. The SMART patrol system and wildlife population monitoring system have been continually developed in protected areas of WEFCOM.
