
The second training of Smart patrol under “Law Enforcement Strengthening System for Wildlife Sanctuary and Non-hunting Area” arranged by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation during July 23-29, 2016 at Kaeng Krachan National Park, Phetchaburi Province. The aim is to enhance patrol ranger competency by refreshing patrol techniques. There are 30 rangers from 6 protected areas participated in this training. WCS staff were invited as lecturers for the topics of skills in GPS, map, compass and patrol data form usage. The trainers who are patrol technique experts from the Border Patrol Police Bureau refreshing patrol techniques and weapon use.

Pre and post physical strength tests.
Patrol techniques, close quarters battle, and patience and self-discipline instructed by a team from Border Patrol Police.
Practice on firearm shooting.
Field patrol and results from patrol mission reported in the meeting.
