
WCS staff, together with Thungyai Naresuan East Wildlife Sanctuary (TYE) officers were invited as lecturers in “Law Enforcement Strengthening System (Smart Patrol) for Wildlife Conservation” arranged by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation during September 5 - 11, 2016 at Mae Tuen Wildlife Sanctuary (MTWS), Tak Province. The aim is to enhance MTWS ranger competency in patrol operations. There are 52 rangers from wildlife sanctuaries and national parks under supervision of Protected Area Regional Office 14 (Tak Province) participated in this training.
The registration and opening ceremony of “Law Enforcement Strengthening System for Wildlife Conservation” arranged by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation which presided over by Mr. Yuttachai Pattamasonti, Director of Protected Area Regional Office 14 (Tak Province).
Dr. Anak Pattanavibool, the Director of WCS Thailand delivered a lecture about “The Development of Patrol System in Protected Areas: Thai to International Standards”.
