
WCS staff, together with Thungyai Naresuan East Wildlife Sanctuary officers were invited as lecturers in “Law Enforcement Strengthening System for Natural Resource Conservation” arranged by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation during August 8 - 14, 2016 at Tat Ton National Park, Chaiyaphum Province. The aim is to enhance ranger competency in patrol operations, including systematic recording of natural resource data and threats found while on patrol. There are 50 rangers from 4 protected areas: Tat Ton National Park, Sai Thong National Park, Pa Hin Ngam National Park and Phu Laenkha National Park. WCS staff and TYE officers instructed for the topics of skills in GPS, map, compass and patrol data form usage. While a team from Chaiyaphum provincial military refreshing patrol techniques.
